CHAPTER 16 Next Steps

Experiment with implementing one or two of the changes you’d like to make (too much at once can be overwhelming and leave you feeling frustrated!). For example, maybe one of the things you’ve learned about yourself is that your focus on self-care could use some improvement. At the first (and each subsequent) opportunity, respond proactively in support of this. Don’t hesitate to decline requests that conflict with the yoga class you scheduled, getting enough rest, even your budget goals! A non-judgmental mindset promotes meaningful self-examination and, ultimately, a more direct path to the outcomes you desire. Take this opportunity to show yourself the kindness you’ve previously reserved for others!

Now that you’re familiar with the process, what happens next? Do something!


Assertively move forward, prepared to manage your feelings, thoughts, and choices with a whole new approach! Before you do that however, I invite you to take a moment, along with a deep cleansing breath, to reconnect with your motivation to read this series. How has your perspective changed from then to now? Did you achieve your goals? Make sure you don’t forget to celebrate all your successes! through your hard work!
